Consilium Investment Management was founded in 2004 by Jonathan Binder, CIO, and Charles Cassel, CEO. With over 20 years in financial markets and asset management, they saw an opportunity to build an investment management business that would deliver above average returns for its clients in the Frontier and Emerging Markets. 

The goal was to build a boutique investment firm that married the risks and opportunities of investing in volatile markets with a philosophy that could deliver sustainable long-term superior performance for institutional clients.  Above all the desire was to build client relationships founded upon transparency and trust, along with exemplary service, that would meet our goals.  As a result of that vision, Consilium has developed into a world-class, institutional investment management firm that is recognized as a top-quartile performer in the Frontier and Emerging Markets space.

Consilium has been headquartered in Fort Lauderdale since 2004, with a diverse and experienced team filling its ranks.  South Florida has long been a home to well-known global investment managers and in recent years there has been rapid growth in the investment management community driven by international accessibility and a strong economic environment that boasts Florida as the 18^th largest economy in the world.

We offer private funds and separately managed accounts exposed to Frontier and Emerging Markets that exploit specific opportunities overlooked by other managers.
